With the conference coming up so quickly, let us introduce you to a few of the faces you will see there during our main sessions:
THRIVE KEYNOTES:
September McCarthy
September is the founder and visionary behind Raising Generations Today. She encourages women in each season of motherhood through her blog One September Day and is the author of Why Motherhood Matters. As a speaker and writer, her vision and mission is for the generations. September lives in rural Upstate New York with her husband and their large family.
Kate Battistelli
Kate is the author of Growing Great Kids: Partner with God to Cultivate His Purpose in Your Child’s Life, mom to GRAMMY award-winning artist, Francesca Battistelli and Mimi to her 3 children. She’s been married to Mike for 34 years and blogs about food and faith at www.katebattistelli.com
Stacey Thacker
Stacey is Mike’s wife and the mother of four vibrant girls. She is a writer who loves God’s Word and connecting with women. You can find her blogging at Staceythacker.com where she hopes to encourage your heart, grow in faith together, and talk about the stuff of life. She is the co-author of Hope for The Weary Mom and author of Being OK with Where You Are, and Fresh Out of Amazing.
We cannot wait to hear from these incredible women as they share their stories, wisdom and hearts with us!
We will also get to enjoy worship times in each main session that will be beautiful times of preparation and rest for our hearts as the Lord speaks and draws us closer to Himself. Meet some of the team who will be leading us in our worship times.
WORSHIP LEADERS:
Ben and Bethany McCarthy
Ben and Bethany are the son and daughter-in-law of September McCarthy. Married since 2014, they enjoy being Mommy and Daddy to their almost-3-year-old daughter, Heidi, and also look forward to this coming January when they will welcome another daughter into their family. Ben and Bethany have lead worship at multiple churches and conferences in the twin tiers and are thrilled to be a part of RGT Thrive 2017.
Taylor and Jennifer Wilding
Taylor and Jennifer were married in 2014. Taylor is the Worship Director/Leader at Victory Highway Wesleyan Church in Painted Post, and Jennifer serves along side him on Victory’s worship team as a vocalist/pianist. She also teaches private voice and piano lessons out of her home. They are so excited to be a part of RGT Thrive 2017!
Mitch Bedzyk
Mitch is married to September McCarthy’s daughter Sarah. Mitch and Sarah are Dad and Mom to their 1-year-old, Oliver, and they all love being involved at their church. Mitch serves on his church’s worship team as a vocalist/guitarist, and is also a founder/member of the local band Oceans and Vessels. Mitch is looking forward to being involved in the 3rd Raising Generations Today conference with his family!
We are eagerly awaiting being together with these and many other wonderful people at RGT Thrive 2017, and we hope to see you there!
